Visiting China is a fascinating adventure and we know that arranging to get your visa easily can be scary right now – but not anymore! On this page, you will find the steps you need to follow to get the right visa and start your trip to China without the fuss!

In 2023, you must make an official request to a specialized organization or go through one of the China visa centers, whether you are from Marseille, Strasbourg, Paris, Lille, Lyon, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Nantes or any another city. The Chinese Embassy has entrusted the processing of visa files to Visaforchina. Via this organization, no request is accepted by correspondence and payment must be made by check or credit card. You must take your fingerprints at one of the China Visa Centers if you are over 13 and under 71 and your application is not for a visa category temporarily exempt from fingerprint collection between August 10 and December 31, 2023. You will therefore have to travel, unless your fingerprints have not been deposited in the last 5 years.
Please note, the formalities are complicated and the consulate is demanding: Your file must be perfect or it will be refused: You will then have to reschedule an appointment and submit a compliant file.
During the pandemic, China no longer issued tourist visas. Only visas for people working on site, for imperative business, for family reunifications and special cases to be studied are possible.
From now on, tourist visas are issued and in addition, there is even a possibility of obtaining an electronic China e-Visa under certain conditions.
You can contact Action Visas to find out if you are eligible. If this is the case, we will advise you, check your file and drop it off at the China Visa Center without you having to travel. If you have not yet deposited your fingerprints in France, we will then make an appointment with you so that you can deposit your fingerprints in Paris, regardless of your place of residence: all you have to do is deposit your fingerprints and leave immediately : we will follow the file and send you back the passport and visa.
The e-Visa-China is online. It was possible before the Covid crisis and again accessible...
